According to Woman's Day magazine there are 5 dishwasher tricks you've never heard of. 1) Do NOT pre-rinse! It will make your glasses cloudy because there is no food left for the detergent to attack. 2) Gauge the amount of detergent to the size of your load. 3) Load dishes according to the manual illustration. If you can't find the manual you may be able to get it on the manufacturer's website. 4) Make sure bowls, cups, pans, etc face down so they don't collect dirty water. 5) Use the normal setting; it is MOST efficient. Now we can save energy, water, and time and have clean dishes too!
